How to Use Wishing Stone Cairn — Stones, Moss, Silver & Gold, and Gift Stones
Wishing Stone Cairn is designed so you can use it straight away without logging in, but a few rules make it more fun once you know them. Here's everything a newcomer might wonder about, in order.
1. Add a wish stone
- Tap Add a wish stone at the bottom of the screen.
- Write your wish in up to 50 characters. Wishes are visible to everyone, so don't include names, contact details, schools or other personal information.
- Give your stone a name of up to 12 characters. This name appears when you leave comments on other stones.
- Tap Add to the cairn and your stone goes straight onto the tower.
You start with one stone. When your care streak reaches 10 days you can have two, and at 20 days, three.
2. Wiping the moss and your care streak
The heart of the cairn is wiping the moss. Eight hours after you wipe your stone, moss starts to grow back. Tap your stone on the cairn or in My stones, choose Wipe the moss, then press and hold the stone picture. A hand moves across it and wipes the moss away. If you let go, the moss slowly creeps back, so hold on until it's clean. On a computer you can hold down the space bar or Enter instead.
Wipe at least once a day (Korea time) and your care streak grows by one. Miss a single day and it breaks and starts over. Visiting at the same time each day makes it easier to keep.
3. How stones climb toward the moon
A stone's place on the cairn depends on how much devotion it has built up. The longer the care streak, the higher the stone sits, closer to the full moon. Stones that go unwiped gradually sink lower. Use All to see the whole cairn and Find my stone to jump to yours.
4. Silver and gold stones
Keep at it and you can make your stone shine.
- Silver stone: available when your care streak reaches 5 days.
- Gold stone: available when your care streak reaches 20 days.
When an upgrade unlocks, an Upgrade to silver stone or Upgrade to gold stone button appears in My stones.
5. Comments and reports
Tap any stone on the cairn to read its wish and the comments left on it. If a wish moves you, leave a short note of support; your stone name appears next to it. Use Report for stones or comments with abuse, advertising or anything inappropriate. Once enough different people report something, it's hidden automatically and the operator reviews it.
Please note: so the cairn never looks empty, the operator has placed some stones in advance, and new stones may receive encouraging comments written by AI. These stones and comments were not written by real users.
6. Gift stones: place a wish for someone you love
When your care streak reaches 5 days you can make a gift stone. Write the wish you hope will come true for them and a stone name, and an account and stone are created for that person. Send them the share link by message and simply opening it lets them see their stone and wipe its moss.
- Gift stones don't count toward your own stone limit.
- You can give up to three gift stones a day.
- Anyone with the share link can use that stone, so only send it to the recipient.
- You can look up each gift's ID and PIN again in Gifts I've given.

7. Declaring a wish granted
If your wish comes true, declare it Wish granted in My stones. The stone turns clear like glass, and its care streak and height are fixed in place for good. It can't be undone, so only press it when the wish has truly come true. Granted stones no longer grow moss.
8. When do I need an account?
Stones placed without logging in are recognised by a cookie in your current browser. If you clear your browsing data or switch devices, you won't be able to find your stone again, and the operator can't restore it. If you want to keep a stone for the long run or use it on both phone and computer, sign up with an ID and a 4-digit PIN. Your current browser's stones move into the account.
9. Removing a stone
In My stones, tap Remove this stone and it disappears from the cairn. This can't be undone. To delete your account or have data permanently erased, please use the contact page.
