Write a wish on a stone and send it to the wishing moon
A place where everyone's wishes are stacked into one cairn under the full moon. No sign-up, free.
Wishing Stone Cairn is a free web app where anyone can write a wish on a stone and add it to one shared cairn, no sign-up needed. Everyone's stones are stacked in a single tower, and the more care you give your stone, the closer it rises to the full moon.
Tap ‘Add a wish stone’, write your wish in up to 50 characters, give the stone a name of up to 12 characters, and it goes straight onto the cairn. Any wish is welcome, from passing an exam to health, love or a new job. Each person can have up to 3 stones.
Moss grows on every stone each day. Press and hold your stone to wipe it off. That builds up your care, and the more days in a row you wipe, the higher your stone climbs toward the top of the cairn and the full moon. It is a small daily ritual for remembering your wish.
Yes. Use ‘Make a gift stone’ to add a stone carrying your friend's wish on their behalf, then send them the share link. When they open it they see their own stone right away, with no sign-up. It is a lovely way to cheer someone on before an exam, a job interview or a birthday. You can also leave encouraging comments on other people's stones.
No. You can add a stone without logging in, and every feature is free. If you want to see your stone on another device, sign up with a username and a 4-digit PIN and your stone moves to that account.
Declare ‘Wish granted’ and your stone turns to glass, keeping its care streak and height in place forever. Come back on wish-making nights such as New Year's Eve, the first full moon of the lunar year or the harvest moon.
